About Me
I am a Co-Active trained professional coach focused on high-performing middle-aged men looking to make significant change in their lives.
In my previous role, I ran AIN Media Group, a 30 employee small business, and the leading B2B news and information source for the business aviation industry. During my tenure the company transformed from one reliant upon print advertising to a diversified mix of digital, print, and a new events business. I currently serve as the Board Chair for AIN Media Group.
Being active is a big part of my life and helps keep me sane. Adventures had taken me backcountry ski touring in British Columbia, to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, to flying my wife and I to Oregon for a week of mountain biking around Mt. Hood.
My wife and I reside in Boulder, CO with our three children.

My Story
I stumbled across this quote in the summer of 2023 on the other side of an “UNSUBSCRIBE” email click. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the company for providing this seemingly random source of inspiration.
At the time I was in the process of leaving the day to day operations of our family business, a business I had worked at for thirteen years and ran for the last five. I knew it that it was time for me to try something new and in the summer of 2023, the new company President had been successfully onboarded and my workload started to drop off.
At this time I also engaged with my first coach. Through our meetings, she heard me say what I wanted, and then watched as I ignored my own desires—one of my default moves. But she didn’t let it go. She challenged me, and for the first time, I realized she was helping me listen to myself. I knew what I wanted, I just needed to hear myself. I needed someone to hold me accountable to listening.
It turns out that what I wanted wasn’t only a new path, but crucially, for the new path to be paved by cutting out the inessential. By eliminating what didn’t serve me, I created space for what I truly wanted.
By experiencing first hand the impact of coaching, I came to see three critical components to my new path. First, that coaching—the authentic, courageous work of creating a safe space to challenge long held assumptions—is an important tool for anyone’s growth journey. Second, that my natural inclination to always follow my curiosity meant that I have what it takes for coaching to be a fulfilling career. And third, that there is a need for men in particular to be given the space and the permission to engage in this type of work.
“It's not the daily increase but daily decrease. Hack away at the unessential.”
-Bruce Lee
What I Believe
My vision is to empower my clients to succeed not just in their careers or their sport, but in their lives. I believe in the power of curation and the freedom and focus that comes with cutting out the distractions.
The values that drive my coaching practice are authenticity, courageousness, and safety. Authenticity is the foundation—we need to show up as ourselves to create a safe space. Safety is crucial, because without it, we can’t be courageous. And courage means no tinkering around the edges. It’s about cutting through the BS, confronting the hard truths, and making bold decisions.
I believe in the power of reduction, not just in coaching but in life. As Bruce Lee once said, “It is not daily increase but daily decrease, hack away the unessential.” By eliminating what doesn’t serve us, we make room for joy, for meaningful social connection, and for intentional living.
I’m here to help my clients achieve results, find joy, and live life fully—focused on what matters most. Together, we’ll create space, cut through distractions, and build a life that’s authentic, courageous, and fulfilling.
